At DALECOOKS we are proud to
serve Taos Chili you can chose chili over spaghetti, or chili
over spaghetti with cheese or chili over spaghetti with beans and cheese or
chili over spaghetti with beans, cheese and chopped onions. We call ours “5 way
chili”, also known as Cincinnati style, but you can have it any way you like including mild, medium, hot or
panic. Combine this with any of the hot sauces from our hot sauce bar and
create your own version of the best chili you have ever had.
OUR SIGNATURE SANDWICH
A truly fantastic taste treat
in a sandwich is dalecooks
pulled pork sandwich. The typical way restaurants make a pulled pork sandwich
is to buy the frozen pulled pork in a 5 pound tray at the local wholesale
store, keep it in the refrigerator until a customer orders it then heat up a
portion and slap it in a bun with some BBQ sauce and serve it. Not Here!
We start out with choosing seven
to eight pound well-marbled
pork shoulders, hand rub them with our blend of seasonings (made to complement
our chili’s unique flavor profile) ,we then place the shoulders into our in
house 210 pound smoker and smoke them for eight hours; from there we seal them
in roasters along with some broth and bake them for an additional 2-4 hours
before hand pulling these hunks of roasted smoked perfection into filling for
the best pulled pork sandwich we believe you will find anywhere. But we don’t
stop there, we load the pulled pork into a Kaiser roll with our in house BBQ
sauce, place the perfect amount of coleslaw on top of the pork along with dill
pickle chips, more BBQ sauce and top it with the other half of the Kaiser
bun. This is a great sandwich.
